Health & Safety

Welcome back to the movies!

We maintain health procedures as guided by local and state government mandates and CDC recommendations. Any changes to our schedule or health and safety policies will be updated as quickly as possible.

What can I expect when I come to the movies?

We want to thank you for helping us to remain open by following Public Health guidance when coming to the movies. Although masks are no longer required for vaccinated individuals, Nevada County Public Health highly recommends all customers wear a face-covering indoors, regardless of vaccination status (updated February 16, 2022).

Seating is general admission. Tickets may be purchased in advance through our website or at the Box Office. Advance tickets are not required (updated December 13, 2021).

Air Filtration
Our Heating and Air Conditioning systems have been upgraded with commercial grade Ionization systems that clean the air flowing through all auditoriums. These robust systems use positive and negative ions to purify the air and kill mold, bacteria and viruses. Our HVAC systems also ensure plenty of airflow throughout the theater.

We maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the theater, frequently sanitizing high-touch surfaces in the lobby, restrooms, and auditoriums. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the building.

Your Health

If you are experiencing a fever, cough, shortness of breath, new loss of taste or smell or other symptoms that could be related to COVID-19, please stay home. We welcome you to join us again in the future.
